A short
guidance on how you may plan your participation in a
draghunt.
1. Inform yourself:
In the
information -section you inform
yourself about the course of a draghunt and inquire about the
packs.
2. Find dates and places:
In the
draghunting dates -section
you search a draghunt in your area, or better, you take the draghunt
as a chance for a short vacation and you search for a draghunt in a region
that you allways wanted to explore. Most organizers of draghunts lay the
drags along the most beautiful areas in their territory. There is no
better way to become acquainted with a region than by a draghunt.
Horseback you have a wonderful outlook and a good speed to see a lot.
3. Courses:
For the one or the other it would be wise
to attend a
course
first before one joins the hunting field with
the horse.
For most drag hunters the weather does'nt
count. As long as the approach is not disturbed by glazed frost the riders
