Draghunting is my passion
When I am not needed at the University of the Saarland, School of Medicine (in real life, I try to resolve the mysteries of brain cancer together with my colleagues), or when I'm not programming any web sites, I try to take my horse Red Point into the beautiful landscape. Most I like to ride behind a good running pack. Usually, this is the pack of the Hardt-Meute of the "Badischer Schleppjagdverein" and Master of hounds Gerd M. Klapschus.
Here you see the Français triclolores of the Hardt-Meute in Eggenstein 2000. It was a wonderful day. No wonder that I was very happy at the "Halali" :
Other great draghunts in our region do take place in Kleinbundenbach behind the Warendorfer-Meute and in Marpingen behind the Vogelsberg-Meute:
Since September 2001 I try to ring my parforce horn together with the "Parforcehorn Bläser Sankt Georg Saarbrücken". On the next picture your see me in the right row, the second horn from the front:
